Saturday will be the big 75. Starting to feel it a little, cant work as long or as hard as I want. For my birthday present I got a Handicap Parking card to hang on my mirror. Swore I never would, but there it is. Can still make it to the range and to the desert for prairie dogs, so still have a little spark left

Dang sir, your inspirational. I am just 56 and got into a fight today with a drunk bum four years younger than I am. I am a cop in San Francisco and this bum came up and punched a city street sweeper. I ran into it and the wrestling began. The street sweepers, all good guys, were going to jump in and help but they were fascinated with the two old guys fighting it out. I won, but they said it looked like two tortoises f--king. I'm still trying to catch my breath.

I'm glad you got out of the fight okay.Those bums are nasty.

I really should have said is that I envy your "spark." I am determined to get it back and will hit the range as long as I can. I have some friends getting near your age and I hope we all will be hitting the range for a long time. With backgrounds like yours, and theirs, you do keep a lot of us guys fired up to go "once more into the breach."
