781 SXT Winchesters seized enroute from Turkey to Belgium...

Nothing wrong with that. Seems to still be good quality. Turks can make good stuff and there is enough shotguns coming out of there for various manufacturers to prove it. Long as someone is there to assure quality it works. I'd prefer them built in America but our corporate taxes don't encourage that.
The turks make OUTSTANDING shotguns...
Neither one of last two posters read the OP post let alone the link..

800 Shotguns Headed To Belgium From Turkey Seized In Italy
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/26/2015 - 11:04

Earlier today, Italian police seized a shipment of 800 pump action shotguns bound for Belgium. Their origin: Turkey. Given what we know about Ankara's connection to Islamic State, one is certainly left to wonder if this isn't one of many "smoking guns" (pun fully intended) that will surface in the weeks and months ahead now that Vladimir Putin has thrust Erdogan's ISIS connections into the limelight.

I don't see a problem with a Turkish made pump shot gun as I own a Regent SS full size 1911 45acp made in Turkey and it's an excellent piece of workmanship.

The author is creating the impression that these are intended for arming Muslim terrorists. Any real evidence of this? Sensationalism, perhaps? Should we wonder if this shipment to Muslim terrorists, assuming that's the case, is a Mossad or CIA operation? Who benefits from Muslim terrorist attacks in the West?

Still doesn't answer the Question the OP was asking, are Winchester shotguns made in Turkey?

But there is no way you can bullshit your way our of your ignorance..

You like the others replied to the title of the thread, not the subject of the thread..

Here is a critical piece you missed, Nrut.

The article was submitted by Tyler Durden.

Yest, Winchester SXP shotguns are made in Turkey

The SX3 semi autos are made in Belgium
MS,

Not this one from Reuters which the OP posted:

http://news.yahoo.com/italian-police-seize-800-shotguns-bound-belgium-statement-152749990.html?nf=1

And for the most part Zero Hedge posts articles that are from other sources..

What Mac is saying is that that the OP was asking whether Winchester pump shotguns are made in Turkey

When the title of a thread is a question such ad " Winchester pump Shotguns now made in Turkey?"

That's ad pretty good indicator that the intended subject is whether said shotguns are made in Turkey or not.

From http://www.fnherstal.com/primary-menu/about-us.html

"Since 1997, Herstal Group has been 100% owned by the Walloon Region of Belgium. With manufacturing locations in Belgium, US, UK, Portugal, Japan and Finland, the global Herstal Group provides employment to a workforce of about 2,400 people."

No Turkey listed so no help here.

I read the original post. I read the linked article where the author could not decide if they were reporting a story about shotguns or rifles. So what? If this thread is all about ISIS to you, I suggest that you turn off the TV news and calm down.
SPX shotguns are stamped "Made in Turkey" I actually like mine, too.
Nice and light and the pump action is really slick on mine.
From the link...

According to the company's website, the shotguns seized are the fastest pump-action rifles in the market, capable of delivering three shots in half a second.

Well damn, three shots in half a second with a Winny, and I just picked up a clean used Mossy 500 this past week..... crazy

Maybe ISIS needed 'em to use on drones? I dunno.

But, from the accuracy-in-reporting dept, if a shotgun wears a slug barrel ain't it also a "rifle"?

Just wondering.
