Home
The kid will be tested tonight!!!

Denvers D going to have to step it up for the Broncos to have any chance
Let's hope the balls are deflated properly.
Gotta love snow games.
Yup,love snow games.
Not a good start for Denver
Gutsy call on 4th by Kubick!!!
An overlooked aspect of the first Thanksgiving is that a football game was conducted between teams representing the Pilgrims and the Indians. A Colquitt punted for each of the teams.
14-7 Pats

Kubiak was a pretty good QB at TAMU, and was, of course, Denvers backup QB to Elway, for many years. Always liked him, and I think the Texans made a HUGE mistake in firing him. Good for Denver & Elway on hiring him as head coach of the Broncos.
Denver is looking pretty good. Brady isn't passing much either.
Pretty well matched, even with Manning out!

Manning sucks when its cold, glad hes on the bench
Pats getting ROBBED on calls....holy schit.

Poor Gronk....PI my azz.
Gronk is down
Gronk is done.

D Thomas with a grab!
Hang up the cleats for this year.

Pats are done.

Who's Brady gunna throw to...his top 4 receivers are gone.
Brady still has Chandler who has learned from Gronk. They'll still finish in top two in AFC.
Gronk puts a hand on a defender and it's pass interference.

Low hit on Gronk....absolutely nothing.

It's fugging disgusting how bad the officiating is. Absolutely disgraceful.
Wow
I think that's it!

Sycamore
69 seconds left. It ain't over yet.
Officiating is so lop sided in this game its not even fugging funny. Holy schit.

Wow.......
What a fuggin GAME!!!!!
wow!

Sycamore
See. OT

I'm a died in the wool Colts fan but Brady is hands down best QB ever. Respect.
Patriots are really doing a lot right to keep themselves in the game!

NICE MUFFED CLOCK OPERATION

Operator is asked to reset it to 40 seconds and instead the clock starts to run.

Everything is being done to make sure Denver wins this game.

NFL should be ashamed of this.

Actually they requested the play clock be set to 40 sec. Not the game clock.
Broncos got a chance.
and they made the most of it! wow!

Sycamore
BRONCOS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya got that right.
Good game! Should have been intentional grounding, but what the heck. grin
Ehh, the Patriots can't say much about getting "cheated" by the refs..

Yep.
I'd have lost a chit ton of money if I'd have been betting on this one. Good for the Broncoes

GO BRONCOS !

Osweiler played well. Encouraging.

That he certainly did.
Brock and Roll!

GuideGun, The calls went both ways, go whine with Brady.

What? Ashamed you didn't understand what happened?
I like Brady, I especially like him when he is whining.
NFL should be ashamed of the product they put out tonight.

Brady and the practice squad vs Broncos and the Refs.
Nice! Love to see the Pats go down!

Great job Osweiler.

If you ever tire of the North East, you'd fit right in the PNW!

Well yea, we should have waited until everyone was feeling up for the game.

The go ahead TD pass from Brock in the 4th

Nothing to see here folks.

What time does the patriot's plane get in? Maybe you could drive down and meet them. Then you and Brady can kiss each other to make it feel better.

Better yet, the Broncos 2nd string quarterback beat the practice squad, eh?.....

I thought it was a great game

I'm no NE fan, but I am an admirer of what they accomplish year after year in this era of free agency.

Tom Brady is phenomenal and as a bonus he's a pretty conservative guy for someone in the entertainment industry.

the Os kid looked very, very good. happy for him and CJ Anderson, loved his big ole smile in the post game and a nod and wink to his mom, at face value seems like a very nice kid.

all in all a great game except for the homers I spose
Don't forget Brady was a second stringer. Pick 199 in the 6th round.

Brock is a better QB than Manning is at this age, no question about it. He'll develope into a good player. But to say he won this game is a little much.

I'm just pretty pissed at the officiating. The game clock fugg up in the 4th, phantom holding on Chung, gronk pass interference, the numerous no calls on the Broncos, etc.
Blandino: Clock was administered correctly
No, Oz was/is the second string quarterback, in his second start of his pro career. Turns out the clock was operated according to NFL rules--it was explained a few minutes later if you were listening.....

I'm making fun of your sour grapes--just in case you haven't noticed.....

So the Broncos would have to run another play- which wouldn't have left enough time on the clock for the patriots to tie it up, and they would have lost in regulation.
The Pats are beat up and didn't play well enough to win. Gronk apparently didn't get hurt too bad thankfully. They'll get back some receivers for the playoffs and be fine. Osweiler looks good. I think its his time in Denver now. I like seeing new blood coming into their own in the NFL. Some questionable calls/no calls from the officials tonight. Pretty much standard officiating anymore, regardless of who is on the field. Go Pats!!!

Spot on.
Love to see the Patriots lose. This was was a real battle between two determined teams.
338rcm: I am glad I stayed up for the late game!
There was some great football played under very difficult circumstances there in Denver tonight.
I was already half drained after rooting for the Seahawks to pummel the stealers.
I didn't really care who won the Broncos/Patriots game but after the fourth quarter I found myself rooting for the Broncos (something a Seahawks fan RARELY ever does) and their new quarterback.
Tom Brady is not only an EXCEPTIONAL football player he has a LOT of class - as witnessed by his sportsmanship at the end of the game and his after game interview.
GO SEAHAWKS.
Hold into the wind

Great game, didn't think Denver stood a chance after down 14-0. Solid effort from the defense, Miller took over in the fourth, Osweiler had a very good game, Anderson was tough as nails. Great game!
“I hate to see it, but it really is the only way defenders can hit now,” Brady said, referring to NFL rules that try to dissuade potentially dangerous hits to the head.

“I bet if you asked the players, they would really rather go high than low,” Brady said. “I don’t think it’s dirty. I just think that’s how football is played now.”

The "receiving calls" IMO are so nuanced now as to a reception vs an Incomplete pass that they seem to have to review half of them. That one where there was the slightest bobble (only noticed in slo mo on replay) by the receiver but he came down with it was ruled an incomplete pass. It's crazy--it be so much easier that if the player retains possession of the ball to the ground regardless of any juggling act in between it'd be a completion. If you don't have it quite secured but keep it alive and in possession to the ground almost takes more focus and skill.

It was a very good game to watch. Brady is very good but glad to see the young Bronc QB notch one in good fashion.
Great Game by both teams, was glad to see the Broncos come out on top

The kid played very well, better than many expected
It's pretty easy to see that the kid has some real talent. Very athletic for his size as well.

Personally I'd bench Manning from here on out. He won't like it but BFD, his time is up.
Irrespective of what you may think of the officiating, they got the clock operation correct. There was no screw up on that. You have to let that one go, just like the Michael Brown thing. It didn't happen like it is being complained about.
I enjoyed the game even though I didn't have a horse in the race. I too like seeing young guys come into their own.
I thought there were a couple of calls that were a little puzzling but the clock thing was not a screw up. I don't think the hit on Gronk was dirty either. The one offensive pass interference was a head scratcher but I guess I don't know the rules.

Glad to see the ASU alum win a big game like that!

For sure..

Why don't they leave it simple? Catch the ball, keep 2 feet in bounds, don't let it go until you're azz (or knees, or whatever) is on the turf?

Simple. Done that way for decades. NOW, it's "gotta complete the 'process', whatever that may mean on any given Sunday... What a total crock...

Gronk has a rep for offensive pass interference so he was on the radar.

I think Brock would have had a much better game if the ball had not bounced off the receivers hands a dozen times.

Good game.
