I enjoy reading 2nd Amendment articles, and this paper by Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit is a good one covering recent court cases and the expansion of 2A to things like stun guns (though he doesn't go into knives).

In a nutshell: Momentum is mostly on our side, if we can just keep or enhance the originalist leanings of the Supreme Court.

Don't worry we will screw it up by failing to at least put a Republican in the White House. Then either hillary or sanders will get to appoint a few justices to the SCOTUS and then they will overturn Heller and McDonald and proclaim there is no individual right to own a firearm and any ban they want to enact is Constitutional.

We need to wean the country from believing that the SCOTUS is going to stand up for our rights in any event.

The Constitution is quite clear. But the left doesn't like It and makes decision based on what they want it to say. Therefore we need strict constitutionalist individuals appointed as judges.

What are you going to do when hillary or sanders has put enough lying liberals on the SCOTUS that they have a 5-4 or 6-3 ruling that you have NO right to own a firearm? That is what is going to happen. They will ignore what the 2A says and means. They will ignore the rulings of Heller & McDonald. They will decide that all of that is wrong and that will be the new law of the land.

Then there will be no government?

There...fixed it for you.

Because the liberals don't like it, they keep hacking and hacking and hacking.

They will never quit. Ever.

And some republicans as well as SC justices "compromise" with them.

They need to hang them all from the same branch of freedom.
