Went down to Milwaukee this morning (it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land".)

Checked out the Harley Davidson Museum. Some neat bikes there for sure. Really enjoyed it. Then we took the free shuttle over to the Mama Tried motorcycle show across the river.

First steps on the bus and a blonde chick hands me a Pabst pounder. Things are looking up.

Get into the show and it was 2 floors of bikes and choppers. Honda, KTM, Husqvarna, Indian, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Victory, Moto-Guzzi, Triumph and even a Crocker was there.

Most prevalent engine would have to be the panhead and then flathead, followed by shovel. I didn't get pictures of everything cool - just some cool things.

Outside the show - visitors' bikes:

Bikes from HD's museum. Again, not everything just some of my favorite things:

1929 with dual headlights. Now you know where HD got the idea for their Fat Bob set up

Packer colored hill climber from the Madison area

Really clean and nice flathead bobber

The restoration shop on the 3rd floor. As close as I could get

Got to sit on a bike just like that 1929 model. Most comfortable seating position. Much better than modern seating positions though a new Sportster 48 comes REAL close.
