Trump has selected 11 Originalist SCOTUS Judicial picks. A common thread for each and every one of them is that they are 2nd Amendment Supporters. One, Willett from Texas, actually mocked the Donald on Twitter but Trump felt that Willett's dedication to the original intent of the Constitution was more important than the Texas judge's twitter feeds.

So far, it seems as if Trump is working the field as he should. He isn't refuting things he said so much as fleshing stuff out in more palatable ways. I think this is important given the fact that his rather popular support in the primaries is not near enough for a general election win. But Hillary is probably the better foe to oppose in the general too since she is pure poison for so many.
