Guys, I'm looking for a pair of easy on/easy off side zipper boots for light hiking on our dirt roads, trails and general walkabouts in the woods. The velcro closure shoes/boots just don't cut it in my book.

Care to share any brand recommendations ??

I had a pair of boots with the side zipper and the zipper let dust and sand in.

I've got 3 pr. of Converse desert boots[6"]. One pr, that I still wear, went to Africa with me for a safari. They have great support, and are light weight. Unfortunately, Converse quit making them, but you can get the same boot from Reebok. I have a lot of feet issues, and these are the best boots I've ever worn.
