Good thing it doesn't look to be biased in the slightest, teeny weeny little bit...

Grades 7-9: Do you think Americans should have the right to bear arms? What restrictions should be placed on gun ownership?

Grades 10-12: Examine the language of the Second Amendment using the interactive Constitution found here. Does a strict reading imply that private citizens have the right to own guns?

Well at least you can take comfort in the fact that they're using your money for this.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Notice a trend? Pretty sure THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE, used several times in the Bill of Rights tells us the founding fathers intend.

Take away THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE in the 2nd, why not in all the others.

And who says the Dems don't want to do that?
Just tell them that ONLY the Nat. Guard has the right to peaceably assemble. According to their interpretation of 2d, they are 'the people'.

Amazingly, the left doesn't want to admit that even after the majority (7-2, on that point) of the SCOTUS ruled exactly that in Heller.

That is entire the point and exactly the goal.
