Here's a TwoYubes clip of Friday's rocket landing at sea, from the onboard camera. Unfortunately, it is shown at warp speed. But go to the Settings gear at the bottom right, select speed and then click on 0.25. That's still not a "real time" view, but it's a lot better. Enjoy this, it is engineering awesomeness...

Thanks Rocky,

That is awesome!
Bulls-eye!
They made that look easy.
Bullseye!

Damn near perfectly centered.
sure came down faster than i thought it would

a lot of technology in that vehicle, especially the landing
Yup, they don't exactly hover it before touchdown. But with the very last drops of fuel remaining at that time, they can't afford to dilly-dally.

I hope they put up the actual speed version. It would only be about six minutes from liftoff to touchdown, but it would give a much better perspective of the event.
Some neat footage here.

That thing was partially built in my hometown, McGregor, Texas.

they're getting the bugs worked out, with unmanned flight. i'm glad to see the private sector senses a killing to be made, once demand picks up.
