When one grows up around asphalt, concrete, blaring car horns, tall buildings, and living like rats with millions of other people; one whom has never had a callous upon their hands from working a tuff job....this is the sort of BS that emanates from an ignorant 'city slicker'!!
I wonder how he would faired shooting a Barrett or even the old single shot 10g. I used to own that made my well seasoned shoulder numb after a few shots. I am sure he smiled after he shot it and then caught himself, thinking oh I got write some story to make the scenario fit "Our Narrative"
I am sure the muzzle break on my tikka .300 mag would send him to the sanitarium.
There is a vid of this guy at the range that day on Gun Talk (you tube I believe) Another guy fired the rifle and the "reporter" actually pissed his pants...
Yep I agree it is the urban idiot that has no clue of guns or the world.
He actually wet his panties in hysterical fear. I wonder if he will be known now and forever as the new "Pee Boy," replacing "Pajama Boy" as the left wing's next poster boy?
Wonder what the dude's wife would think about her "hero?"

EDIT: Revising my statement on the dude pissing his pants video.
Looked at it again. It is a staged satire. The actor playing Gertz is much younger and does not have a scraggly beard like Gertz. He also has a military haircut and Gertz does not. When the other guy shoots several rounds from his AR 15, the "Gertz" actor is off camera. That is when he obviously pours the water onto his pants.
Still, an appropriate satire I think, given the real reaction the real Gertz K--U,NTzman exhibited when he really fired a round from the .223 AR 15.
Tell the sissy to come see me. I'll let him shoot some 500 grain loads through the .458. "Just make sure you hold the rifle very loosely so the butt plate doesn't bruise your shoulder and make sure you put your eye very close to the scope. Oh, and lean the back of your shoulder against a tree for stability."
