We dubbed Little Yellow the Twinkie, and it's served us well for 7 years, but we needed more space. Enter- The Raven. More on the name in a bit.

Ordered with the extra 18" height package for walking inside, same as the predecessor-

An 5x14 empty shell-

The last trailer had the work bench on one side. I ordered this one with the side door far enough back to build a bench in front to free up the sides for storage. The bare workbench-

Roughing in some 3/4" plywood shelving-

Mocking up 2x4 supports-

One small upgrade over the 10' Twinkie trailer- grin No more cold lasagna.

Getting some things finished-

Still have a few things to add, like a drawer under the bench, holders for pipe wrenches and other hand tools, garbage can, irrigation flag storage, scrap pipe storage, etc.

Since it's longer I decided to get the springs flipped to the top of the axle. It goes in Wednesday for that and a skidplate for the rear. Signs after that. Hope to finish it this week and get it in service.

All in all a productive weekend on a worthwhile additional to the business.
Very nice.
Oh yeah, the name. I left the lot with the trailer and 20 minutes later hit a raven on the interstate and dented the top front corner. What are the odds?

Carry a rifle in the wilds and you can't get within 800 yards of one of them bastiches, but buy a new trailer and have them fly into it to commit suicide! laugh
Picture or it ain't happened -I've said --"you never see a crow or raven hit by a vehicle" .
Twinkie --turn it into an offroad camper.

I know! Who's even heard of it happening?!

The Twinkie is still in service so we can go two different directions. One trailer for installation projects while the other handles repairs.
hmm, we see ravens on top of us all the time in AK. Land in trees and so on.

Did not realize they were that spooky, but could be the location too for sure.

Hope you got a deal on the color scheme as a big discount. LOL.
Nice job. It should serve you well for many years.

They're spooky where they're shot at. I mean real spooky. We have two ravens that have lived here for years. They harvest whatever we have on the property in the way of fruit or grasshoppers and they can be approached because they feel safe.

Advertising. Yellow works. Ask McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc.
Dang raven took a good lick .

Rost they wise up fast if you/anybody is shooting at them.
They will land in trees around here [in town] overhead-wherever -you can square up and stare at them and they'll fly off within seconds . Very leery here locally .
That's pretty dang cool!
A guy could build a damn nice camp trailer starting with one of these. Cost to me was $3900 optioned the way I wanted it. Base trailer was something like $2400 IIRC.

I went with a narrow 5' trailer so the taillights on the truck could be seen around the trailer, and for ease in tight spots, parking, traffic, peoples small driveways.
Did not know about advertising yellow. I'm old school, worked for word of mouth and nothing more. Never cared beyond that. Probably why I'm not self employed anymore.

Re ravens, I did not know you could shoot them, I was thinking they were federally protected.

Must be even smarter than crows. Crows are shot/shot at all the time here, just saw 3 this morning sitting on the road by the tank, could have easily stopped and shot one.
You need to get some sunlight on them legs. grin
There's no helping my chicken legs. blush

I found myself daydreaming of a camp trailer while I worked on this. Fold down couch/cot combo, sink, stove, toilet, windows.

Probably are!

Yeah, you think you can shoot one until you stop. Their nerves get the best of them most places.
Good lookin' trailer and nice work on the shelves!
