Probably missed it in a drunken, narcotic laced, haze...but did they make your camper right?
Farmers paid what they thought it would cost to repair in 4 days. Direct deposit into my bank. Parts will take at least another two months to get here but with the help of duct tape, plywood and glue with a lot of caulking we are using it. Redneck trailer trash at it finest.
my dad worked in the rail yards there for a number of years for the santa fe. he was constantly trying to hook me up with this mormon chick. Somewhat stupid at the time didn't work. She was from the clan the name whiting brothers came from. As in oil, lots of it. my life would have been different. what scott also probably doesn't know is you drive south of there and you are in primo elk country.
Wish I'd known that was there in May. My wife and I saw the sign for Winslow as we were driving toward the Grand Canyon. I almost made a slight detour just to say I'd been there. Would have been one of the best photo ops of the trip.
I think almost everything than could run from there is all ready gone
Scott; It's been too long since I've said hello to you my friend - I do follow your posts but don't always comment.
Anyway, I wanted you to know I caught the inference...
As I tell the guys at work, "It's a lot less funny for me when I have to explain my jokes to you all..."
I really enjoyed the trip down memory lane too Scott - the Eagles supplied a whole lot of material to the soundtrack of my teen years as a farm boy in Saskatchewan. My goodness that seems like a lifetime ago and when I add it up, I see that it was.
I drove thru there last year, I think. I had to blink, and I'm not sure we went thru there or not. We were on I-40, in a hurry to get to Cottonwood, where my MIL had just passed. No time to lollygag, unfortunately.
I like Arizona heaps and heaps. Nice place to vacation.
