The turn out at the rally tonight is massive, one of the biggest events I've seen in Austin other than a UT football game.
Long story made short, there was massive traffic, longs lines into the venue, and as we were within 20 yards of the door, the fire marshals locked the door due to overflow crowds with 1,000's more still in line and waiting in traffic.
The venue holds 10,000 configured for a music concert, so there was at least that many with 1,000's outside turned away and more still waiting in traffic.
The crowd was polite, friendly, well dressed and well spoken. The only losers I saw were across the street attempting a protest, but they failed at even that.
My wife made it in earlier, so may have some more photos later.
This is the approach as we walked after parking over a mile away.
Here is the weak turnout of second rate protestors - number was between 50 - 100 at most. Of course, TV cameras were lined up interviewing them. What a fraud.
One of several lines in the entrances.
Will not see this at a Hillary rally - if she even ever has one.
Fire marshals closing the doors just as we made it up to the doors.
