I bought a Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Aggressor it takes pictures and video. Cannot view videos loaded off the SD card. I have a 2007 HP Pavilion PC with Windows Home Vista that is only use to read SD cards and store pictures from game cameras. It hasn't been use on line in 2 years because I bought a MacBook Pro. I don't have IMovie app.

What are my options with the HP ?
Will I be able to view video if I purchase IMovie app ?
With the Stealth Cam iOS card reader would I be able to view videos on my Apple SD phone ?
What card is in the camera?

This is just a guess, but I've ran into some compatibility problems with SD cards and older PCs. I've got a machine from 2010 and my digital camera uses a SDHC card, my regular card reader wouldn't read it. I had to get a different card reader to read the SDHC card.

Do some digging around, all SD cards aren't the same anymore and they're not all compatible in older machines..

Do still photos taken with the same card show up OK ?
If so, the SD card may not be the culprit.

You might try playing the videos with VLC Media Player.
It is a free download that I have used for years.

I haven't run into any video that it won't play.

Still photo's are OK..

SanDisk Ultra 80 SCHC MB/s 32 GB..

What I understand is the video files are .AVI...tried to download DivX player Bushnell recommends...

The HP is to messed up with a virus it will not connect with inter net...only good to look at DVD's or pictures....
See if someone can download VLC player on a thumb drive, and you should be able to install it from there.

insert sdhc in laptop. right click on the sdhc icon in files reader. click format. should format the card to your viewer programs.
Problem solved....for my Mac...
Contacted a Professor at Princeton University he walked me threw what he feels is the only safe download...VLC Media Player...
Works great....

I can take a photo with the camera with a video clip for each event...but first must down load photos to IPhoto then video to VLC Media Player...
