I ran a lot of cable operated dozers and a pan, but never an actual snowplow. The dozers were old milsurp TD-18's and the pan was an old milsurp Cat. All of these had bench seats to accomodate a gunner and driver. The big Cat pan had a swivel mount for an MG in the roof.
Not cable operated like a dozer or dragline. The cables manipulate the bastard things inside the pump to direct the fluid around, as opposed to the newer electric controlled ones. So with this kind, there is only one hot wire with makes the motor pump the fluid, no harness to install etc.
Ahhhh, ok now I know what you're talking about.. It's been 34 years since I had one of those.. They were quite an improvement over the old, "climb outta the cab, pull a pin, rotate the blade and climb back in' Western Plows that I first bought..
Once you get yours adjusted right they'll work pretty well.
Have fun in the snow..
