I have the solution for you. If the left/media says it, believe they're lying about it and the opposite or alternate explanation is true.

it's not hard at all with a healthy dose of cynicism.

Just don't give up your guns, no matter what happens.

For 8 years the list has been checked off, one by one

I read a couple of the early vote articles.

They didn't reveal any results. They only gave (cherry-picked) numbers of party voters. No mention of independent voters.

I'm not assuming anything about votes cast.

Good, then you're doing it right.
i'm not shocked at the direction of the USA. the Left have a plan, and they are steadfast in pushing their agenda. The so called Right, has lost it's way, and only those who have kept their principles, haven't been co-opted into the progressive movement.

personally, i don't have any hope that there will be any political solution. we say stuff like "too late to vote them out, too early to shoot them". well, i fear that that saying is no longer applicable. that makes my mind reel at the thought

where do we go from here....

Somewhere along the way, reality ceased to matter. The ability to live in lala land and ignore what is really happening is, I believe, a result of the cyber reality of computers. People are satisfied to pretend to do or know stuff, by just going online. It is almost real, but still vicarious. You get the experience, without the problems. They are unable to realize that reality has warts.

Here in my area, most of the early voting is by the "entitlement crowd". I guess it's just too much of a hassle to get out and vote on election day. So, since we know who they will be voting for, the early polling data is obviously skewed.

How can you "vote often" if you don't start early?

I lost all my guns when the canoe tipped over in the lake yesterday.
