Our defense cannot be any worse. Historically horrible and I don't guess it will ever change no matter who we hire. I do blame the TD right before half on coaching. No way we should have allowed the 55 yd play. No pressure on QB. Typical.

We should have gone for 2 every score from the beginning of the game. Maybe we could have caught up. Our defense could absolutely NOT get a stop. Mayfield is a piece of excrement. He and his dad lied about Tech. I want him to lose every game. Davis left on good terms. I want Cal to win every game.

Texas Tech and Defense are two words that never belong in the same sentence, never have since Leach was there.

Pitiful defensive exhibition by both teams, both "defensive" coaches should have been fired before leaving the stadium.

That old canard about "defense wins games" is even more incorrect today than it ever was; defense allows the offense to win games. The fact of the matter is that in their ongoing quest to ruin the game, the coaches, operating more or less within the framework provided by the rules commitee, have devised offenses to which there is no real answer. To move the game back to where it should be, the first move should be a return to at least limited substitution, if not all the way to one-platoon football.

It seems like having an awful defensive secondary is just as much a part of Stoop's Oklahoma football as anything else is. Texas Tech. had a one dimensional offense...no running game at all...and OU's secondary still looked pitiful. I've never seen so many guys get open. I think Mahomes must've completed at least 50 passes. Fun game to watch...kinda...but a really pitiful defensive showing.

Unless I'm reading the stats wrong, TT was 20/25 on 3rd down conversions, that's unheard of. I watched the game but wasn't aware they got that many. OU's Defense couldn't stop a Girl Scout troop. Mike Stoops should resign in shame...

BTW, Mahomes was 52/88 on Passing.
