Fantastic! You must be very proud.
Congrats to your kid for his accomplishment
funniest thing is,
Matthew isn't studying Business, or Finance, or Economics.
His major is BioScience, Can you imagine?
I just sent Trump a text, need the federal reserve straightened out? the IMF? I've got your guy.
It was your trip to DC and all my fine seafood restaurant guidance that made this happen!!
Congrats buddy!
David
Wow! Congratulations to you both!

David
That was a great vacation, and yes your advice was solid and appreciated.
Our highest commendations to Matthew.
Jim
Congratulations to you and your son! Just when I start to lose faith in the young people of this country someone like your son comes along to show not all hope is gone! Well done young man!!
Mike
Excellent! An extraordinary young man!
Outstanding!
I'm sure you're beyond proud
That's pretty outstanding. Congrats to him!
Congratulations to you and your son. You obviously raised him in the right way. I hope he doesn't accept a full scholarship to one of the ultra liberal Ivy league schools, and let them fill his mind full of liberal mush. He's obviously in the top 1% of his class, so he must be a conservative.
Wow! Congratulations to you both!
+1
Look out M.I.T.!!!!!!
Excellent! Congratulations to both him and his parents.
I hope he doesn't accept a full scholarship to one of the ultra liberal Ivy league schools,
The only ones getting full rides any more are the ones in sports, or minorities. sad but true.
Congratulations to the boy!
Congratulations to BOTH you and your son on a job well done.
I think a new firearm would be a good
microeconomics reward for your son.
2 cool 4 school
happy for the both of ya
That is really cool! Did you thank your wife for her boost to the genepool!
I don't even know WTF it means and I'm impressed!
Congrats.
Dave
Out-Fricken-Standing!!!
Congratulations to your son, you and your family.
Congratulations to the young man.
I'm betting there are some scholarships to helo with college costs
WOW! That's an amazing accomplishment. What an elite class to be in.
Those tests are incredibly difficult. I have taught AP World History for the past 8 years. What an incredible accomplishment. Congrats to your son!
Be proud, sing it loud!!!
It doesn't get any better than that!
That great! And imoressive.....
Casey

His best scholarship was for making national merit, it was very welcomed. At 25k a year for a public undergraduate school it's no wonder the snowflakes are protesting.
Kenneth,
Congrats to your son and his mom! JK, you too buddy! That is off-the-charts awesome.
I don't even know WTF it means and I'm impressed!
Congrats.
Dave
Shocker!!
In short, Matthew is the next Bill Gates. Just not quite as rich!
Congratulations, to BOTH of y'all!

I just sent Trump a text, need the federal reserve straightened out? the IMF? I've got your guy.
I was thinking there's a job for him in DC.
Congrats to Matt!
Well done, sir.
He sounds like a tribute to his raising. As a parent of two high ranking students, I know how hard that is to achieve.
Please give him my congratulations, and best wishes for the future.
Outstanding!! You have good reason to be proud.
So cool. Lots of smarts and lots of hard work goes into success like that. Well done to you the missus and your soon.
Congratulations to the young man and to you and your Mrs., Kenneth.
Wonderful! Best wishes to him going forward.
Congrats! That has to be a tough test. Lots of Calculus involved in Macro. A lot harder course than Micro.
That is something to truly be proud of!
My son got an academic scholarship, but nothing that holds a candle to this.
Congrats to all! I'm glad they are recognizing superior achievement!
He's not even my kid and I'm proud of him, outstanding!
I didn't red all the posts and maybe this was already mentioned.
If he's 1 out of 34, that's NOT the top .03%. It's the top 3%. So the graders of the exam can't do math too well.
does not detract from the young man's achievement.
He was one "of" those 34 to be placed in the top .03 percentile,
there were more than 34 students who take the test, my math says about 133,000 students took the test.
You not reading all the posts had little to do with your math as well as your reading comprehension.
Apology accepted.

WHOA! Has his I.Q. been tested? I'm guessing someone capable of that is around 180. 100 is average, with a standard deviation every 15 points. That IQ would be in the 6th Standard Deviation, or approximately in the same % of people with an equally as high an IQ as the % of people who did that well on the math skills test. That's quite a bit above the point picked to be considered a genius.
Congratulate your son for me. That is an awesome achievement. His future is indeed bright.
Well done and sincerest congrats all around.
Is the fine and gifted young fella looking at any sort of "Sabatical", or is he a workaholic ?
GTC
Congrats, job well done!!! Please extend that to Matthew from Carolyn and myself.
Jeff
Congrats to your son, and his proud dad, are in order...
Good job... ya know the boy has a strong future ahead of him....

That is an understatement Seafire...just as my post was. In this age of "Google" kids can get a credible answer to ANY question in a matter of seconds off of their smart phones. They have lost the ability to read for comprehension and their math skills, as a whole, just plain suck. Kenneth's son will be highly sought after and courted when he completes his Master's or PhD at MIT.
Thanks for all the kind words everybody, from Matthew and I. much appreciated.
