The lead singer for Emerson Lake and Palmer and also of King Crimson fame has died at the age of 69 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. RIP Mr Lake you were one of the very best to ever grace the stage!!

Keith Emerson died in the recent past, think last year. That leaves Palmer as the last of the trio.

~ 1972 ELP appeared at Seattle and Lake [the singer] was drunk, held up his drink and said, "This is eternal".

A professional rock singer [Farwest booking tavern circuit] was there with us and said Lake was singing everything an octave lower than on the album.

There is some better work by Lake in an earlier band, King Crimson

There's a couple of good youtube videos of him doing solo performances of "Still You Turn Me On" and "Lucky Man" that are worth viewing.
