Tomk, I worked a half day down in Harbor Springs yesterday and saw several Robins eating some sort of small red berries growing on several ornamental looking trees.

I wish I could convince myself that spring is nigh, but it's too early to even dream it.

It's still mid-January; don't let it fool you.

yeah, no offence to robin lovers but their "winter is over" track record is kinda sketchy...one year had a flock starving down on the river bank too weak to fly...

imagine the swan could be in Missouri by nightfall, if he felt so inclined
