This thing just appeared and there's no access to it. I believe it's a new partition on the hard drive. I've been searching for info and found a number of forums discussing it - all with nothing but questions, no answers. Many say that it seems to disappear as mysteriously as it appears. Mine contains 110 MB of something but there's no way to find out what it is.

Any guru's out there?
Windows 10 will create a z:\ drive that you can't access.

Is your computer on some sort of network or set up to share files with other computers?

Vaguely remember Z: drives from when I was on networked systems. Was either a place for network administrator to put stuff on your computer or a file sharing location - maybe???
Let's hope, to God, it doesn't shoot a bull or it's owner

Its on a network with my wife's computer and the printer. I'm the administrator but I can't access it.
Beats hell out of me
I rebooted and it's gone. I don't know if it was gone before I rebooted.
