I dont think she was stunning. However, I dont think she has ever been pushed out of bed, , , , not even the morning after.

I don't know of a better looking First Lady.

To me, it looked like she had that elegant Jackie K-O thing going on.

I think both Laura Bush and her mother-in-law (Mrs George H, W. Bush) were both beautiful people - not as much in their looks as in their personages and the way they conducted themselves.
I just can NOT find a complimentary thing to say about Mrs. hussein obama other than she came in to the White House with a chip on her shoulder and today when she left it was an even bigger chip!

Quite honestly I don't give a crap what the first Lady looks like, only what the first Man accomplishes.

while melania is certainly a better option than the one that just flew out of town, laura bush exemplified what a first lady ought to act like, look like, and how to project the proper image of the president's wife in a stately manner.

If you sit back and watch, the whole family has a look of appreciation for the moment with great dignity.

Yup, watching them last night on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial showed that this is a family that is humbly accepting the great responsibility that is now sitting on their shoulders. Also seeing the bright eyed joy and excitement of his granddaughter shows the bright future of the next generation.

She has always been a bit to made up and plastic looking to me. But no one can argue the class and the upgrade from that other one.

He's a big kid. I was shocked to hear that he was only 10. It was wonderful watching him come out of his shell yesterday. He really seemed to like the tractors. He's become quite endearing.
