Home
I was out in the yard scattering some cracked corn for the local Quail population and enjoying a bowl of English after breakfast this morning and basically minding my own business when a big ol glob of snow fell out of a tree and landed dead center on top of my pipe. frown

Hope this isn't an indication of what the rest of the days gonna look like.

that sucks (or not) right there!
What's snow?

grin
Was it a Kaywoodie Pipe ?
Peterson.....probably wouldn't have happened to one of my Kaywoodie's

That's the stuff that all the northerners go south to get away from and all the southerners go north to sled and ski on. The dividing line is where northerners who think they're better snow drivers than they are meet up with the southerners who really can't drive on it.

Aron 85....the Pete's a nice little pipe but it only two years old and hasn't learned how to deal with springtime in ID.
No doubt any one of my 30's-40's vintage Kaywoodies would have sensed the danger and executed an evasive maneuver to save that delicious bowl of John Bull from it's watery demise.

I have a weakness for good English tobacco, good dark beer, and good whisky. I try to use all three with moderation but unlike Bob (the original Kaywoodie) I'm a mere mortal. frown

It's technically on the rez but the Nez Perce sold off everything but some of the timbered land years ago.

Especially the farming land....turns out they aren't really interested in hard work.

It is as far as I'm concerned.

There are few things as pleasant as moving water.
