Well guys, we're fighting a losing battle I'm afraid.

I did a little checking and the little girl with the yellow chevy has a ton of posts just like ours here but all over with many groups and sites specific to the 55-56-57 trucks, street rods etc.

It will be tough to compete with the amount of attention they have drawn to the truck.

I hope people see the difference between an old truck that someone bolted a bunch of goodies on and Nate's truck that took an amazing amount of talent and effort to build.

They are both cool trucks and both are far beyond anything I'm capable of but one of them is a goldarned work of art.

I did some testing last night and Brackify is logging IPs. With a completely clean browser and a new private window, one can vote every 5 minutes and 1 second.

Opening a new bracket page (http://www.lmctruck.com/march-mayhem/index.htm) any sooner than 5 minutes unregisters your previous vote, making it appear that you can vote again, but your really just re-registering the previous vote associated with your IP. I tested various voting intervals vs bracket total and entrant total vote tallies. It appears that each vote and associated IP is logged in suspension for 5 minutes before being permanently registered.

Guys, I'm finally home from a long weekend of running like a chicken with my head cut off. We helped with some family stuff "back home" and we brought up a classic car for some work to be done (trailered).

I'm looking at this contest and I guess I've got to be honest, I feel both of these kids have won their respective classes already. Nate advance past the truck I was worried about in the entire 32 truck field and that was the blue 4x4 F150, that truck was really something and it was a fair pairing against nathan's. 4x4 against 4x4 and both from the same manufacturing time frame.

Likewise with the yellow truck, that truck beat out it's competition in the "street class".

Both trucks won their respective classes, this last pairing is a bit of a gong show.

With that said, it's our gong show. lol.
