Horrifying moment villagers cut open a giant python and discover their missing friend

Messed up video in the link.
The article says people from his village heard his crys but did nothing until the next night. Nice.

There's big f'in snakes out there in the dark. Game over, man!
When there are snakes longer than telephone poles where you are, there needs to be some snake hunting going on. shocked
That snake would make one heck of a belt!

Yeah except a snake has standards and no self respecting serpent would lower itself to that level.

With a python, I do not doubt that he might have been saved. Croc, not so much.
That snake called for double-ought buck snake shot.

Read the story.....That didn't work out very well for the last guy.

No drama in this story.

No different here!! Many years ago a young woman was brutally murdered (on the steps of a hotel, I think) while screaming for help in NYC. Neighbors heard screams, but "didn't want to get inolved". memtb

You Sir owe me a Keyboard.
Poor Akbar..
First I've heard of an adult human being swallowed by a big constrictor, conventional wisdom has it that our shoulder blades make it tough for the snake to work its jaws past.
Ewwwwwww..... those shorts!
SOAB!!!

DEAD!!
Snake on the big end of size spectrum and human on the small size trumps conventional wisdom.
This been around a while and seems legit
Akbar-snackbar, I can see the snakes confusion.
Jungle folk are not famous for dashing out into the woods to aid stricken comrades.
Looks like Akbar had already lost his right leg below the knee.

Tough life.

Google Kitty Genovese.
If it gets warm enough, let them go in all US urban hubs.

were humans ever designed to deal w/large snakes? i think not.

humans arrived on the scene much later than the large snakes did, didn't we?
