My dog thinks I'm God Himself.

My big lab usually gets a little treat after going outside. We have been doing this for many years and it he seems happy with the system or so I thought. About a month ago I made the HUGE MISTAKE grin of buying a pack of

and giving him ONE. I guess he really liked it 'cause now he wants to go outside about 95 times per day. laugh

Usual move for him is to go slightly across the threshold and do a 180 and come right back in the kitchen and look up at the cookie jar.

Houston, we have a problem. crazy grin cool

Oh sure.

Throwing the tennis ball has been added to my duties.

My new procedure for getting dressed is to put on one sock, then chase the puppy to get my other sock so I can put it on.

The living room is now a play arena.

The landscaping is a play arena also.

The area below my desk is now a dingo den.

Trying to replace the flap on the dog door but Leotie has other ideas about what the agenda should be right then.

The puppy has discovered that mining through my hunting gear can produce rewards like old blood-stained cords and ropes, trail mix, feathers, leather straps, and chapstick.

Damn, I miss my dog. Can't wait to get a suitable piece of property and get a new best pal.

They gave up on me. They still roll their eyes when I do something stupid.

If it keeps up, I think I will have the only dogs in the world that can truly laugh out loud.

My 6 year old lab has been fat and lazy, tired easy and seldom showed interest in anything.
About two months I ago discovered she had a thyroid condition and started her on meds.
She now is 20 pounds lighter and returned to puppyhood.
Every time I take her to the local lake she jumps in and starts swimming after Geese.
Gotta find some way to stop that. grin
Really great to have her back.
