During a Friday interview with Tulsa, Oklahoma-based radio host Pat Campbell, former Fox News contributor Debbie Schlussel accused Hannity of inviting her to his hotel room before and after a debate with a pro-Palestinian guest in Detroit. Schlussel said she rejected Hannity’s alleged advances and that she was never invited on his show again.

For 86-year-old Rupert, Fox News is a key part of his legacy, as well as the family company's health: the most profitable news outlet ever ($1.5 billion in profits this year) and among the most influential. For James, 44, and Lachlan, 45, the hope is to reshape this legacy, to move Fox away from what they see as its retro, Trump-style views toward, well, something nicer (and to do this profitably, they hope, somehow).

He did. According to Hannity she has been lying about him for more than a decade, yet the accuser, Debbie Schlussel, has not said exactly when the alleged harassment occurred. Apparently she has also made false statements about Hannity in connection with his work for the charity, "Freedom Alliance." And, Hannity is the threatening legal action against her.
Had this conversation with JJHACK yesterday. IF Murdock's take FOX to the Left, they are committing financial suicide. As it now, they have the Conservative news market cornered - no competition. Why in the world would they go Left and then be competing for an audience with CNN and MSNBC, as well as ABC, CBS, NBC or NPR? IT wouldn't help ratings, it would shrink ratings and thus PROFITS! Since FOX News is 25% or so of all of Murdock's portfolio, a substantial loss in revenue there could not be recovered through movies or newspapers. It is just the reverse. FOX News in keeping the movies and newspaper arms alive.
If FOX news goes down, then the stockholders will revolt. Maybe the Murdocks are just cleaning things up. Bill O has been there 21+ years, that's a long run and his schtick is getting a little stale. These charges with the loss of sponsors makes it easy to bring in TC, and if gets ratings, maybe he is the face for the next 20 years.
Murdocks have gotten heat for increasing benefits to employees? Healthcare with better maternity or Trans coverage? Could be that's just what the policy they bought covers. They threw their employees a bone. How much of that Trans stuff will actually ever result in a health care claim form a FOX employee? Very little if any. That's a throw in from the Ins. Co. They know they won't have huge claims for that.
So maybe the Murdock boys aren't Leftist and are just tidying things up? In that case, FOX will march on. However, what if they are Leftists? If they are, and they pull FOX to the Left, the Murdock empire will suffer, FOX will lose viewers, and they will get ousted. Talent will flee, and a competitor will emerge more Conservative and grab viewers.
The FOX template is easy and portable. Get a conservative host, surround them with gorgeous, well spoken, conservative babes, invite conservative guests on to spar with Leftist wackos, and rake in the money. There is no competition for that right now. How difficult would it be to buy a channel and convert it using that template?
How difficult would it be to find gorgeous conservative female lawyers/judges to be "guests". The world is full of fools that can be your next Geraldo or Juan Williams or Bob Beckles. Newt, Bolton etc. will go on where ever the paycheck is.
O'Reilly screwed his self because he had paid them off to make them go away, and not just one or two either. As far as I know Hannity hasn't done that, of at least if he has, we don't know about it. This is the Left's best hope of bringing down the Republicans for the foreseeable future. Blow up Fox and you effectively shut down a major information route for conservatives. By controlling conservative freedom of speech you ensure the only message that gets out is "your" message. Between this and the embedded government layers fighting any and all change I'm beginning to think our 2nd civil war has already started.

I said it just a couple of days ago. Hannity better have a plan for his future that doesn't include FOX. The brothers are not even going to wait until Rupert is dead before they take FOX left of MSNBC. Hopefully the Mercers and Trump make a new conservative/populist network. That's the best obvious hope.

Now, in an interview with LawNewz.com on Monday morning, Schlussel is denying that she was ever sexually harassed by Sean Hannity.
Yup, she's backpedaling. She says in that interview he didn't ask her to his room but back to the hotel with him and his producer, for a drink in the bar I'd assume. He doesn't strike me as the type to abuse women.
There are a hundred scenarios to this story. I will give you one. Hannity invites one of his so-called "Contributors up to his room for a drink. Does this mean he has the hot's for her? How many business deals and contracts have been negotiated in some hotel room away from the eyes and ears of a bartender or waitress? Or for that matter News detectives, WITHOUT any intention of some sexual conduct. I would like to see any one, male or female who files charges of Sexual Harassment held to prosecution if their charges are unfounded. Now, what have they have to lose? A little payoff by the accused? The pity of the left? A little jail time would stop that quickly. We are getting somewhat Paranoid. Cause and effect should be closely looked at. I don't know about O'Reilly, but I think Hannity is too smart for that.
