Sure is shiny.

That's one of , if not the biggest one I've ever seen at about 4 feet. Most all I've ever seen were 3 feet or less.

Cool, I love snakes in the grass, the genuine kind, not those of the figurative persuasion.

Might be a few more weeks before ours start getting really active, nights are still pretty cool.

Non venomous constrictor , preys on rats & mice.

beautiful snake!
we only have garter and mini rubber snakes here. grew up with a rattler under every rock and sure don't miss them.
bet that corn snake would thin the ground squirrel pop here.
