As I sit here high and dry in my home watching all the devastating flooding in the greater Oklahoma City metro area, I wonder how an all electric vehicle world would fair in the rescue efforts.

Which would be a good reason to switch civilians to vehicles that don't use diesel or gas. We need reserves to fuel our war machine.

When I had the AWD P85D I had to go off road in very wet conditions a number of times and the car was actually very good in the mud. Can't say I ever tested out the claim that the wheel rotation will allow the car to float and move like a boat for short periods, but I wouldn't doubt it.
I had forgot about all those cars burning up. But, whoever wrote the article made a mistake..... Sandy was not a hurricane when it hit shore. Hurricane Sandy never made landfall. Tropical storm Sandy made landfall.
