Has anyone had experience with Hart barrels rebarreling service? Specific inquiry re. purchase, installation, cost, time factor, and quality of work.

Thanks,

Bob

I had a 22.250 IMP,and a .222 done by them.
I was very happy with the work.

I have had several rifles rebarreled and full action jobs done. Their work is first rate and they are 25 miles from my home. The barrels are made in New York by a cousin but all the chambering etc is done in Nescopeck Pa.

Every one is a shooter.

Thank you all. I’m thinking of rebarreling a Tikka T3 in .308 to a fast twist 22-250. The .308 has a ton of rounds down the barrel, and is still accurate, but I’m looking for an excuse and don’t currently have a 22-250, so, why not?

Thanks to all for taking the time to reply.

Happy 4th.

Best,

Bob

I had a .270 Extreme Weather Model 70 rebarreled by them. They hit their date quote to the day and it has exceeded all expectations as far as accuracy and function. I highly recommend them.

Hart barrels in NY will do chambering if I'm not mistaken.

Boss a few years back had a rifle barreled by them. Can't remember the caliber. Said it was one of his most accurate rifles.

Never heard a bad word about them either.
