If you like him and Nicholson and westerns, you really need to see "The Missouri Breaks"
Missouri Breaks is OK but far from his best movie.
It was not O.K. It was much better than that. Superb casting, acting and cinematography. The only weak link was the same problem with any Hollywood production, they didn’t need Kathleen Lloyd or her character in that movie. Many a good movie would have been better without a leading lady.
Nicholson was great and Brando did a good job as Clayton, but Harry Dean Stanton who is often overlooked as a character actor was outstanding. A great movie that could have been greater but for the want of a woman in a movie best left to men...
