..why the ridiculously low penalties? A woman was caught with a knife concealed in a bouquet of flowers at the Seattle airport. It's a clear violation of the law but the only penalty is a minor civil one. If they want to stop weapons, why don't they hammer the offenders?
Whether you agree with the law or not, it's still the law until the feds change it.

She didn’t have it on the plane would be one reason. Committing a crime and doing it are two different things. I have a nephew that flies for a major airline the got stopped because he had a fingernail clipper on him. Should they have thrown him in jail? Ed k

Big difference between fingernail clippers and a knife hidden in a bunch of flowers. That was no accident.


Lucky she didn't have a dog............................................might have been shot and killed...................................... grin
