This photo was allegedly taken from a college dormatory of a religious school right at ground zero. It is said the storm surge or tidle wave is 35 to 40 feet tall and measured 15 miles long, an awesome sight.

Those are cool photos but I don't believe that most of them are actually from Katrina. I've seen them on the net quite a few times under different titles....
