Dear all

I am in need of a replacement bolt handle for a Remington 1100 which is chambered in .410.

Does anyone know if the 1100 bolt handle is universal to all chamberings?

I'm not sure but I would think that they are. Pull the bolt handle out of a 12 or 20 gauge and see if it fits. Won't take but a few seconds.

Before he bought 1100’s, my father shot a Sportsman 58 which had a very similar, if not identical handle. More than once, usually on a dove hunt, the thing would take flight and come up missing. As a little tyke, I was his retriever and remember on at least one occasion when we got back to the car, I heard some choice words 😁 as he tried to unload. I think he was able to use a key to pull back the bolt.

I haven’t had it happen with my 1100 but my brother has, so if you have an 1100 that likes to spit the handle it’ll pay to have a spare.
