For years I used Micro-Bed. It was discontinued some years ago.
I found it easy to work with.
Any suggestions for a substitute with similar workability?

Acraglas Gel.

I, too, used Microbed. It was really easy. The Acraglas Gel is fine, but you do have to add the dye to it to color it. That is generally not an issue, as the dye comes with the other chemicals in the small (2 rifle) packs.

I also found Micro-Bed very convenient to use, was saddened at its disappearance, and miss it. It differed from Acraglas in that Micro-Bed cured somewhat softer, while Acraglas cured to be hard as, well, glass.

I have used Micro Bed, I’ve been using Acraglass Gel for a long time now and am happy with its workability and longevity.

Deacon 1010, I used it for along time but couple years ago tried Marine-tex for couple years. Nothing wrong with Marine-tex i just like the work ability of Deacon 1010 better.
