Gents:

Can anyone approximate what a M70 Classic Featherweight in 6.5 x 55 would be worth in excellent condition?

thanks.

Blued, around $750+.. SS/Walnut, can be upwards of $1000..

They're hot right now..

I bought my daughter one (SS/Walnut) when I found out the plant was closing. I paid $650+tax for it at the time. Figure that wasn't too bad of an investment. Of course she wasn't even born at the time, so it will be a while before she shoots it. It sure is tempting seeing that bugger sitting in the safe. Heck, I even have 4 boxes of Federal Premium loaded with the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw.

go to gunbroker.com, and in the lower left corner, click GOING, GOING, GONE and then enter your search words, and the in the drop-down box titled SHOW ONLY select COMPLETED AUCTIONS. You will have to log-in, but when you do so, you will be greeted by what it is that you have looked for, and from there, you can seewhat ACTUALLY SOLD. There is a BIG difference between ASKING and SELLING prices, as you will see when you use this method.

Boy, I screwed my previous links up so bad I'm not even trying again. Just go to gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com and browse around checking auctions that have ended. The one on gunbroker thats at $505 will probably zoom on the last day.
