Any gunsmiths on here know if you can take a Cooper M22 in say 7-08 and do a stock modification to make the rifle into a repeater rifle rather that a single shot.

I know that cooper is supposed to come out with a repeater short action but I have a chance to pick up a M22 cheap and was wondering if I could make the change.

no. i would shoot the p!ss out of it and wait for the repeater..

Yep. Shoot it and don't modify. I'd buy something else if you have to have a repeater.
