I have an older unit that I would like to clean the planetary gears and repack them with new grease. Any tips on disassembly? Maybe a schematic?

Go over to AR; there is a thread there with contact info for MMC. Let them do it, those are sealed bearings in there.

I continually see references to AR. Is that AR-15.com?

I would send it back to the factory, they are sealed bearings and may not need to be redone?
