I have recently picked up a really nice Winchester 94 Big Bore in .375 Win. chambering. It is near perfect with one exception. The previous owner removed the firing pin (for some unknown reason) and lost it.

Is the standard Winchester 94 firing pin the same as the one's use on the Big Bore version?? I can find no reference to a separate part for the Big Bore firing pin but would hate to order one and find it is the wrong part.

I believe it's the same firing pin for all.. To be sure, you could always call Winnie and get the definitive answer..

The firing pins for the rebounding hammer models are turned down in the center to lighten them. So it depends on whether you have the half cock or rebounding hammer. They may well interchange but I have never tried it.

Who the hell is Winnie? The only Winnie I know is a bear that likes to steal honey.

If you are a really cool gun writer you speak of such things
as 25 Roy's and Bobs, Remmys, and Winnies, and always
Wheelguns. It shows you to be a well educated gunnut.
