Need some fine toothed files and some stones for metal finishing, cutting, and polishing. The few I've always had around aren't quite up to snuff for my new needs. Anyone know a good source, models, and specs? I'm going to try my hand on a basket case, in need of cutting/filing away some pitting, while keeping all flats and edges, and get it all back smooth enough for blue, while not removing too much.

Thanks.

I've always found machine shop supply houses to be the best source of those items. But it seems many of those suppliers have merged and been absorbed so I'm not sure who is still in business.

MSC is typically a good starting point and I think they've absorbed most of their competitors
