I have a Remington 552 Speedmaster that is in need of some TLC. My Dad bought it at an auction years ago and it had been stored in a barn. The wood needs work and the metal needs refinished, likely some pitting. There isnt a lot of sentimental value to it... Dad never used the gun. I just feel a bit sorry for it, it deserves better. I have had a hard time finding wood for it, matter of fact, I cant. Numrich has the buttstock I think but the forearm is always out.

Is this going to be possible to get it fixed up without spending more than a new one costs? Any ideas on where to take it, either close to Gillette Wyoming or shipped somewhere?
Try http://www.jackfirstgun.com/ and http://www.remingtonsociety.com/rsa/service/ for a forearm. Otherwise you will likely have to buy a parts gun somewhere.

Got several forearms. All used and some better than others. None that are pristine. If you're curious shoot me a PM.
