Anyone here know what the parent case is for the 26 Nosler? If not, what would be a good case to form these from? Besides the fact that Nosler wants $2 a case for the new brass, I would like to have a source for brass besides Nosler, since they seem to be out of stock so often.
Any help before I build my own 26 Nosler?

Sheister,
If you don't mind using 7MM RUM or .300 RUM or .338 RUM brass, you could use that brass and use a bolt face that fits a normal magnum, ie. 7 Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag. It sure looks like Nosler used the same case with a larger bolt face.
I did that when I made my 6.5mmRUMLN. The other day I ran two rifles. One with a 26" barrel and the other with a 28" barrel. The 26" produced a velocity of 3,720 feet per second with Scenar 123 grainers. The 28" barrel ran 3,816 feet per second with the same ammo loaded at the same time.
It's parent case is the 404 Jeffery. The bolt face is Standard magnum .534. It really appears to be a 7mm RUM shortened to 30-06 length and necked down. I built mine on a Savage 7mm rem mag case feed from the factory mag and eject without issues.
