Can someone tell me if the Mauser 2000 is the same barrel thread as the 98s please . I can pull the barrel and have a look but I can get a cheap prefit and need to know fairly quick . Thanks in advance
The thread dia. and pitch are the same but the tenon lengths might be different since the 2000 is a push feed
with no inner collar, completely different from a 98.
I don't have info on the tenon lengths, sorry.

IIRC the Mauser 2000 was made by Heym. Might check with them.
Im trying to find scope base that fits on the Mauser 2000.
In my research I read where the threads are the same as the 98.
Did you find this to be true?
I did a rebarreled on a 3000 years ago but I don't recal for sure...if I had to guess they are different...as the 2000/3000 were not made by Mauser...your prefit 98 barrel more likely is not even close even if it screws on...
Threads for scope base are probably the standards 6-48... I think you can still get bases for those actions
