I happened across this outfit when researching Bansners stocks (www.wildcatcomposites.com).

Anyone using them out there/have experience of them?

Just wanted to do some diligence before i order one.

I have used a couple, both for Ruger 77 tang-safety rifles. In general. I would classify the over-all workmanship a being just a bit shy of Bansners (maybe, more than a bit) but considerably better than Brown Precision. On one of the stocks I got, the filler in the action area was not hard and appeared to have not fully cured. I dug it out and replaced it with Acraglas. The second stock was fine in all respects. Surface finish was pretty good with no voids or cavities and minimal sanding required ( he also offers stocks which are sanded and prepped or even completely finished). His patterns are essentially duplicates of factory stocks but I know he is working on more. All in all, I think the Wildcat stocks are a decent value; especially so for Canadians. I think the soft filler in the one stock was an exception; I have heard of no other complaints of this sort. If I wanted another synthetic stock, I would not be averse to owning another Wildcat. GD
