I've never been able to send a pm. Been that way for years.

Click "My Stuff"
Select "Edit preferences" from the drop down menu.
About the 4th yes/no question is about accepting pm's - change it to yes.

It is set to yes and has been for years. Still no joy. Expired the cookies and still no go.
