Why does my envelope continue to flash when I don't have any unread private messages?

No response to my question...anyone know the answer?

It's been a bane for a lot of folks.

The way I understand it, both Moses and Ramses were plagued by the flashing envelope, to the point it caused much consternation between them.

The rest of the story is history, so they say.

Nothing to get in a hub bubbabout.

That flashing envelope contains an invitation for group gay sex with RWE

It pisses me off too!
Also, why can't i save a thread to watched or subscribed?
And forget about using the "contact us" link...that's completely useless, mail comes back undeliverable!

I'm new here and my envelope is flashing too. No messages to read. I guess I'll ignore it.

Ditto for me too. I tell myself I won't click the damn arrow every time I login because, I'm a newb, no one needs to message me. But, I click it anyway and am overwhelmed by a sense of loneliness and foreboding.

I have that same problem.....I was once told that once you have 100 posts it goes away???
