My wife has a winchester model 55 in 25-35 cal. It was her fathers and the serial says it was built in 1928. Just wondering the value of it.

Is it a take-down model? Also, it depends alot on the condition of the rifle and bore. I would say minimum $1000 though.

The price could range from$1000-$4000 depending on the condition and if its a takedown or not ,its the rarer model 55 caliber. Don
