I have an older Marlin 1894 in .44 magnum, and want to put sling swivels on it. I don't want to drill and tap the forearm nose cap or replace it, but rather want to use the swivels that have the two piece circular "clip" that fits around the magazine tube. I looked online, and I only seem to find the Uncle Mike's version for the .357. What am I missing? Anyone know if what I want is available?
Not sure who made them . but a quick detatch betwixt the dot and buttplate , and a clamp on the mag tube is on my carbine. I also like the saddle ring sling , but you can see the two point as well in this pic.

Phil--

What you have is what I'm looking for (assuming the band clamp is not a full circle that requires taking off the front band to get it on). Anyone know where I can get one?
Google can be helpful wink

In my defense, it is listed for the 336, not the 1894! crazy Thanks for the find!
No worries , just don't try to install the back one in that trademark bulls eye .
The Marlin gremlins will haunt you relentlessly , avoid the bad JuJu and drill that hole halfway between the bullseye and the butt plate . wink

ETA : That was just the first one that popped up in a quick google search , there are likely others out there as well.
Fortunately for me, the bad juju was heaped upon the former owner, who somehow had the nerve to lose the bullseye entirely! I ordered a new one from Brownells to restore all that is right and good in the world. I should have it in a couple days.
Awesome, just ordered 2 sets. One for my 44 mag and another for my 35 Rem. It is just too difficult climbing slippery hills with a rifle in my hand.
