They have lost a whole lot of value over the last two years for several reasons. The economy, the mass quantity of them, not drilled for scope, and most importantly because the target market for these are dying off and most young folks wouldn't look once at them.

The older they get the more valuable and certainly if it has a certified history but if its made in the fifties or sixties in premium shape I've watched them sell between $340-$450
my guess is 500$
JohnnyLoco is correct about the market. In my area that price is somewhat low given the described condition. The box and papers would really jack up price but not so much with out it. Everybody around here is rushing/falling over each other to get a black rifle. They neat old stuff is not moving so well. If you decide on a price, I might be interested.
