I have two Marlins...nope actually 3 marlins. I am in need of getting bases for two of them maybe three of them. These are the Marlins in .444, 45-70 and 30-30. If I bought two of the scope bases, are they interchangeable? Not sure if I can get bases for 3 now but can later on.

I have a Leupy V1 2*7 that I want to mount to see the true accuracy of this rifle. This will require how low of a scope? What brand of scope base do you use?

I'm not sure if you're thinking Weaver base or not but this might help. Fits a 336 or a 444 or an 1895 and several others too. Thanks Marlin!

I've used a steel redfield type base in past and now am using a Talley base and ring. for the 45-70s.
To test accuracy of several rifles with one scope I'd put a Weaver base on all three and swap as the mood strikes.
